Tosei Corporation ("the Company"; Registered Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Seiichiro Yamaguchi; Securities code: 8923) has expressed its support for the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations and has joined the TCFD Consortium, which is an organization for supporters in Japan.

TCFD is an international initiative started by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in 2015 in response to a G20 request. TCFD was announced in a final report in June 2017 ("the TCFD recommendations"), which encouraged companies to disclose information on climate-related risks and opportunities. The Company is expressing support for these recommendations.

The TCFD Consortium was established with the aim of discussing initiatives for companies and financial institutions that support the TCFD recommendations to promote effective corporate information disclosure and to link disclosed information to appropriate investment decisions by financial institutions. Through our participation in the TCFD Consortium, we will strive to gather information on the TCFD recommendations and proceed with appropriate action.

One of the basic policies in the Company's medium-term management plan "Infinite Potential 2023" is the promotion of ESG management, and we are developing business and management infrastructure in consideration of environmental and social issues as well as disclosing information on initiatives on our website and elsewhere. Going forward, based on the TCFD recommendations, we will analyze impact of the climate-related risks and opportunities for our business and strive to further enhance our information disclosure.
